Tom Jackson

Tom Jackson studied zoology and subsequently worked as an animal keeper. He later wrote more than 200 books and contributed to many further projects. His subjects include natural history, technology and science in general, with books and articles aimed at both children and adults. His work as a travel writer took him, among other places, to the Sahara, the Amazon and the Galápagos Islands. Unusual stages of his career included rescuing buffalo in Zimbabwe and conducting research in the rainforests of Vietnam.
