Tobias Kurwinkel

Tobias Kurwinkel, PhD, is a literary scholar who holds a professorship in modern German literature, with a focus on literature and children’s and youth cultures, at the University of Hamburg. He served as editor-in-chief of the interdisciplinary portal KinderundJugendmedien.de and initiated the teaching and research project “Illustrators in Residence,” which focuses on picture-book art.
