Tine Melzer

Tine Melzer (born 1978) is an author and artist. She studied art and philosophy in Amsterdam and earned a doctorate in Plymouth on Ludwig Wittgenstein and Gertrude Stein. She later taught at Bern University of the Arts. Her literary debut, Alpha Bravo Charlie (2023), received several awards, including the Franz Tumler Literature Prize, and was nominated for the Rauris Literature Prize. Her novel Do Re Mi Fa So (2024) received an award from the City of Zurich. Together with Markus Kummer, she published Bleisulfid / Lead Sulphide (2018).
