Tim Spector is a professor of epidemiology and genetic epidemiology at King’s College London and a medical adviser at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. His work focuses on personalised medicine and the gut microbiome. He co-founded ZOE, a company specialising in nutritional science. He was awarded an OBE for his work in the fight against COVID-19. His books include The Truth About Food, published in German as »Die Wahrheit über unser Essen« in 2022, followed by »Nahrung fürs Leben« in 2023 and »Nahrung fürs Leben. Das Kochbuch« in 2025.
