Thomas Savage

Thomas Savage was born in Salt Lake City in 1915. He studied at the University of Montana and worked as a writer and English lecturer. Before devoting himself fully to writing, he held various jobs, including ranch hand, plumber’s assistant, welder, and insurance adjuster. His work comprises 13 novels. His novel *The Power of the Dog*, first published in 1967, was adapted for Netflix by Jane Campion in 2021.
