Thomas Asbridge

Thomas Asbridge, born in Great Britain in 1969, is a historian specializing in medieval history. He taught the subject at Queen Mary College, University of London. In 2004, he published a comprehensive history of the First Crusade in England. His work also involved firsthand engagement with the historical sites: he walked more than 500 kilometers of the old Crusader route from Turkey to Jerusalem.
