Terry Goodkind

Terry Goodkind (1948–2020) was born in Nebraska, USA. After studying, he initially worked as a lawyer before becoming known as a writer. His debut novel, Wizard’s First Rule, was published in 1994 and began the fantasy series The Sword of Truth. Goodkind went on to publish more than 20 additional novels, and the series was adapted for television as Legend of the Seeker. In addition to fantasy, he wrote supernatural thrillers featuring Jack Raines and Angela Constantine. He was also a passionate racing driver.
