Tatia Nadareischwili

Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 1988, Tatia Nadareishvili studied illustration and graphic design at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. She first worked as a drawing teacher at a primary school and later spent several years as an art therapist for children with disabilities. From 2009 onward, she participated in group exhibitions in Georgia and was a member of the Virgam illustrators’ collective at the Book Art Center in Tbilisi. Her first book, The Black River, was published in Tbilisi in 2011. Her picture books also include Sleep Well, which has been translated into several languages.
