Sylvia Frank

Sylvia Frank is the pen name of the German writing couple Sylvia Vandermeer and Frank Meierewert. Sylvia Vandermeer was born in Zeitz in 1968. She earned a postdoctoral qualification in business administration and worked as a lecturer, writer, and painter. Frank Meierewert, born in 1967, holds a doctorate in ethnology and also studied screenwriting. Writing as Sylvia Frank, they published novels and crime fiction, including The House of Winds, Gala and Dalí – The Inseparables, So Long, Marianne – Leonard Cohen and His Great Love, and Rügentod. They also published works individually and under other pseudonyms.
