Born in 1977, Sylvain Dorange studied art at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg under Claude Lapointe. His early professional work included adaptations of films by director Robert Guédiguian. Together with Franck Viale, he created the three-volume series “Les promeneurs du temps.” In 2015, Dorange designed the cover for a Sanseverino album about the French convict Henri Charrière; this led to the graphic novel “Sanseverino est Papillon,” created with Cécile Richard. He also worked as a composer, animation director, and political cartoonist. His works include “Hedy Lamarr.”
