Sven Degenhardt

Sven Degenhardt is a qualified teacher of mathematics and physics and a qualified teacher of students with visual impairments. He earned a doctorate in education (Dr. paed.) from Humboldt University of Berlin. From 1996, he served as a professor of education for people with visual impairments at the University of Hamburg. His areas of expertise include the representation of blind and visually impaired people in the media, assistive technologies, physiological optics, accessible lighting and spatial design, accessibility, and universal design.
