Stuart Immonen

Stuart Immonen is a Canadian comic-book artist and writer. He self-published his first comics in the late 1980s and broke through in the US market in the early 1990s. As an artist, he worked on titles including Superman, Legion of Super-Heroes, the X-Men, The Ultimates, Spider-Man, New Avengers, Fear Itself, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Star Wars. With Kurt Busiek, he created the science-fiction comics Superstar: As Seen on TV! and Shockrockets, and with Mark Millar he worked on the space opera Empress. Together with his wife, writer Kathryn Immonen, he produced the graphic novels Moving Pictures and Russian Olive to Red King, the webcomic Grass of Parnassus, and an Idefix story for Asterix and His Friends. He also wrote several Superman stories.
