Stuart Cosgrove

Stuart Cosgrove is a Scottish journalist, broadcaster and television executive. In the 1980s, he worked as Media Editor at the music magazine NME and wrote for The Face. He joined Channel 4 in 1994, where he spent eight years as Controller of Arts and Entertainment before becoming Head of Programmes (Nations and Regions), a position he held until 2015. He received several awards for his work as a radio and television presenter for Channel 4 and the BBC. In 2018, he won the Penderyn Music Prize for Memphis 68, the second volume in his soul music trilogy.
