Steve Watkins

Steve Watkins is a British author and information security specialist. He held positions including Quality Manager at Business Link, Head of Quality and Operations at Focus Central London, and Corporate Services Manager at HMCPSI. In 1996, together with Alan Calder, he was involved with one of the first companies to achieve registration under BS 7799. Watkins also contributed to the development of certification and training standards for information security management systems. His other work included serving on UK standards committees and assessing certification bodies for information security and IT service management systems.
