Steve Cavanagh grew up in Belfast and studied law in Dublin after moving there. Before joining a large Belfast law firm, he worked as a dishwasher, bouncer, security officer and call-centre agent. As a civil rights lawyer, he was involved in several prominent cases. His debut novel was the thriller *Zu wenig Zeit zum Sterben*, followed by *Gegen alle Regeln*, another novel in his thriller series featuring Eddie Flynn.
