Stephen Chbosky is an author, screenwriter, and director. He grew up in Pittsburgh and studied film at the University of Southern California. His first film, “The Four Corners of Nowhere,” was shown at the Sundance Film Festival in 1995. He is best known for his novel “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” which was adapted into a film starring Emma Watson and Logan Lerman. His other film projects include “Beauty and the Beast” and “Wonder.” He also published the novel “The Friend.”
