Stephan Doering

Stephan Doering is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy and in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, as well as a psychoanalyst affiliated with the Vienna Psychoanalytic Society and the International Psychoanalytical Association. His professional roles have included a professorship in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy and directing the Clinic for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy at the Medical University of Vienna. He has also worked as a training therapist for Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP). His main areas of research include the diagnosis and treatment of personality disorders and psychotherapy research.
