Stefanie Dahle

Stefanie Dahle, born in Schwerin in 1981, studied illustration at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. She worked as an illustrator and author of children’s books. She became known for characters and series including »Erdbeerinchen Erdbeerfee«, »Frida, die kleine Waldhexe« and »Wassili Waschbär«, as well as for illustrating books such as »Ihr Kinderlein, kommet« and »Viele kleine Prinzessinnen-Geschichten«. By her own account, she spent much of her childhood looking at picture books and painting on bedroom walls.
