Stefan Gaugusch

Puppeteer and puppet builder Stefan Gaugusch began creating and crafting hand puppets for ORF’s children’s programming in 1994, including the characters Confetti and Quaxi. He provided the voice of the rat Rolf Rüdiger and also appeared with the character on the Radio Wien programs “WOW” and “Die 2 um 2,” which he co-hosted with Robert Steiner. Gaugusch also made puppets and large-scale puppets for theater productions, including “Faust” at the Landestheater Innsbruck. For more than three decades, he led the puppet theater company “Kasperl und Co” and toured Austria with it.
