Sophie Bonnet

Sophie Bonnet is the pen name of a German author. She made her debut with the French crime novel *Provenzalische Verwicklungen*, which launched the series featuring the Provençal investigator Pierre Durand. Her books reflect her affection for Provence and her passion for French cuisine. *Provenzalische Verwicklungen* remained on the SPIEGEL bestseller list for several months, and subsequent novels in the series also became bestsellers.
