Shiro Kuroi

Shiro Kuroi studied graphic design and, during that time, won an award from a major seinen magazine. Kuroi then worked for three years at Toei, creating backgrounds for anime productions and learning to use digital tools. He later worked as a web designer. His passion for comics also led him to self-publish several magazines, which he sold at conventions. Sketches for one of these projects later developed into Leviathan.
