Sergius Golowin

Sergius Golowin was born in Prague in 1930 and grew up in Switzerland. After completing his schooling, he worked, among other positions, as a library assistant and archivist. He later entered politics, advocating for youth and environmental concerns. In 1969, he received the Friedrich Dürrenmatt Prize for his commitment to cultural minorities with their own traditions. From 1981 onward, Golowin worked as a freelance writer. His books focused primarily on folklore, myths, and esoteric ideas. He died in Bern in 2006.
