Scott Beatty

Scott Beatty is an American comic-book writer and nonfiction author. With Chuck Dixon, he wrote stories about the early careers of Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl, as well as contributions to „Batman/Joker: The Last Laugh“ and the crossover „Batman: No Man’s Land“. His other work includes „Countdown“, „Batman: Gotham Knights“, „Son of Vulcan“, the WildStorm titles „Revelations“ and „Number of the Beast“, „The Last Phantom“, and reinterpretations of „Buck Rogers“. Beatty has also written nearly a dozen nonfiction books about prominent DC Comics characters, including several Batman encyclopedias.
