Sascha Icks

Sascha Icks (born in 1967 in Düsseldorf) trained as an actor at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. She performed at theaters in Munich, Wiesbaden, Mainz, Frankfurt, and Bremerhaven and worked as a voice artist for radio and audiobook productions. In 2000, the magazine Theater heute nominated her as Best Young Actress. Her audiobook recordings received the BEO and, in 2020, the German Audiobook Award for Best Children’s Audiobook; her productions also appeared several times on the hr2 audiobook bestseller list. Among other works, she narrated Kathryn Littlewood’s The Bliss Bakery series and Jeanne Birdsall’s The Penderwicks series.
