Sara Stridsberg

Sara Stridsberg, born in 1972 in Solna, Sweden, is a Swedish novelist and playwright. Her work has received several awards, including the Nordic Council Literature Prize in 2007, the Grand Prize of Samfundet De Nio and the European Union Prize for Literature in 2015, and the Selma Lagerlöf Prize in 2016. She was elected to the Swedish Academy in 2016. Her works include the novel »The Big Heart« (2017) and »Dyksommar« (»Diving Summer«), which was shortlisted for the August Prize. She was also nominated for the Man Booker Prize.
