Sandra Israel-Niang

Sandra Israel-Niang, born in 1977 in Bad Oeynhausen, works with Yiddish language and literature. After studying Yiddish independently, she completed language courses at the YIVO Institute in New York. Her published translations include “Die Ameisenbücherei” and “Der Schwan, die Ziege und der Frosch,” which appeared in 2022 as part of the bilingual picture project of the Kinderliteraturhaus Lübeck.
