Sabine Mehne

Sabine Mehne (1957–2022) was an author, speaker, physiotherapist, and systemic family therapist. Before her cancer illness in 1995, she worked in her own practice. She subsequently spent around 25 years advocating for greater awareness of near-death experiences, giving talks and readings in German-speaking countries. From 2019 onward, she also campaigned for a more open and self-determined approach to death and dying. Her books include Licht ohne Schatten, Der große Abflug, and Ich sterbe, wie ich will.
