Ruth Fitzmaurice

Ruth Fitzmaurice was born in Ireland in 1976 and worked for many years in Irish radio. In 2008, her husband Simon was diagnosed with motor neurone disease and, despite the initial prognosis, lived for another six years. He died in the winter of 2017 surrounded by his family.
