Russ Braun is an American comic book artist and illustrator. In 1989, he received his first assignment as a cover artist and penciller at DC Comics. In the following years, he worked on titles including Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Venom, Swamp Thing, Animal Man, and War of the Gods. Braun then spent several years at Walt Disney Animation in Florida, contributing to films such as Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch, and Brother Bear. From 2004 onward, he returned to comics, drawing Fables, Jack of Fables, Fairest, Dead Boy Detectives, and Hellstorm: Son of Satan for DC and Marvel. With Garth Ennis, he collaborated on numerous stories for The Boys, as well as Jimmy’s Bastards and other comics.
