Rupi Kaur

Rupi Kaur (born 1992) is an author and illustrator. She studied rhetoric and literary or professional writing at the University of Waterloo. In 2014, she published her first poetry collection, “milk and honey,” a combination of poetry and prose. The book became an international bestseller and was also published in German as “Milch und Honig.” Her recurring themes include femininity, love, loss, wounds, and healing. Her second collection, “The Sun and Her Flowers,” was also successful.
