Rolf Arnold

Rolf Arnold earned his doctorate at Heidelberg University in 1983 and completed his habilitation at the FernUniversität in Hagen. From 1990 to March 2019, he held the chair of education, with a particular focus on vocational and adult education, at TU Kaiserslautern. From 1992 onward, he helped establish the university’s Distance and Independent Studies Center (DISC), which he led until 2019. His research areas included adult education, vocational training and continuing education, systemic pedagogy, educational constructivism, and intercultural vocational education. His publications include “Ich lerne, also bin ich,” “Seit wann haben Sie das?” and “Wie man führt, ohne zu dominieren.”
