Rochus Leonhardt

Rochus Leonhardt (born 1965) is a German Protestant theologian. He studied Protestant theology in Naumburg (Saale) and Leipzig, received his doctorate from the University of Rostock in 1996, and completed his habilitation there in systematic theology in 2001. After teaching in Rostock and Hamburg, he took up a professorship in systematic theology with a special focus on ethics at Leipzig University in 2011. From 2003 to 2006, he held a temporary professorship at the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg.
