Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, born in 1973 in Managua, Nicaragua, is an American screenwriter of Nicaraguan heritage. He wrote the source material for the television series “Riverdale” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and contributed to “Supergirl” and “Glee.” In 2013, he wrote the film adaptation of Stephen King’s “Carrie.” He also wrote for Marvel, including stories featuring Nightcrawler and “The Sensational Spider-Man,” as well as the miniseries “Secret Invasion,” “Dead of Night: Man-Thing,” and “Marvel Divas.” He received a Harvey Award for “Marvel Knights.” In addition, he worked as a producer on various television series.
