Robert Marc Lehmann

Robert Marc Lehmann (born 1983) is a trained marine biologist, research diver, photographer and filmmaker. Early in his career, he headed Europe’s largest aquarium before turning away from the zoo and aquarium industry to focus on animal welfare and species conservation in the wild. His work as a photographer, filmmaker and environmental conservationist has received several awards, including National Geographic Photographer of the Year in 2015 and “Person of the Year” in 2018. He has also given lectures on environmental, animal and marine conservation.
