Robert Atzorn

Robert Atzorn, born in 1945 in Bad Polzin, then in Pomerania, is a German theater, film, and television actor. After completing his acting training, he began receiving engagements at German theaters in 1969. From the 1980s onward, he appeared in numerous television productions. He became widely known for the series “Oh Gott, Herr Pfarrer” and “Unser Lehrer Doktor Specht.” He also played Hamburg homicide detective Jan Casstorff in the long-running crime series “Tatort.” His work earned him, among other honors, the Golden Camera and the Grimme Award. In 2017, Atzorn announced his retirement from acting.
