Reimar Klein

Reimar Klein (born 1942 in Halle/Saale; died 2018) was a translator and professor of German language and literature at the University of Trieste. He translated works by, among others, Giorgio Colli, Carlo Michelstaedter, Pier Paolo Pasolini, and Roberto Calasso. In 2017, he received the German-Italian Translator’s Prize for his life’s work.
