Ray Loriga, born in Madrid in 1967, is a Spanish author, screenwriter, and film director. His work has been translated into fourteen languages. Among his novels published in German is »Tokio liebt uns nicht mehr«. As a screenwriter, he worked with filmmakers including Pedro Almodóvar. His novel »Kapitulation« received the Premio Alfaguara de Novela, which carried a prize of 175,000 US dollars, as well as the California Book Award.
