Raphael M. Bonelli

Raphael M. Bonelli (born 1968) is an Austrian psychiatrist and neuroscientist. He studied medicine at the University of Vienna, obtained his habilitation in psychiatry, and conducted research at the intersection of neurology and psychiatry, including work on neuropsychiatric and dementing disorders. His research appointments included the Harvard Medical School and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). In 2009, he founded the Institute for Resources in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (RPP). Bonelli has published numerous scientific papers and several nonfiction books, including Bauchgefühle and Weisheit des Herzens, which were described as SPIEGEL bestsellers.
