Raingard Knauer

Raingard Knauer holds degrees in social pedagogy and education and is a professor of education, social pedagogy and early childhood education at Kiel University of Applied Sciences. Her academic focus is on education and learning in early childhood. She is a founding member of the Institute for Participation and Education and was involved in developing the educational guidelines for childcare centres in Schleswig-Holstein and the concept “Die Kinderstube der Demokratie” (“The Children’s Nursery of Democracy”).
