Rainer Willmann

Rainer Willmann (born 1950) is a zoologist who was a professor of zoology at the University of Göttingen and director of its Zoological Museum. His scientific work has focused on phylogenetic research, evolution, and biodiversity, as well as the history of biodiversity research. He was a co-founder of Göttingen’s Center for Biodiversity Research and Ecology.
