Rainer F Schmidt

Rainer F. Schmidt, born in 1955, is a historian who was a professor of modern and contemporary history and history education at the University of Würzburg. His publications include works on Reich Chancellor Otto von Bismarck, the Hungarian politician Count Julius Andrássy, Rudolf Hess’s flight to Scotland, and the foreign policy of the German Reich from 1933 to 1939.
