Rafael Wagner

Rafael Wagner is a historian with a doctorate and an author. He grew up in eastern Switzerland and studied history, provincial Roman archaeology, and medieval German literature at Goethe University Frankfurt. He subsequently worked as an assistant and lecturer in medieval history at the University of Basel. He also worked at the Abbey Archives of St. Gall and for a scientific publisher in Zurich. According to the biographies, he has been writing since childhood.
