Rachel Held Evans

Rachel Held Evans (1981–2019) was a columnist, blogger, journalist, and bestselling author. She studied English literature and wrote several books that appeared on the New York Times bestseller list. Evans grew up in Alabama and Tennessee, married her college boyfriend Daniel Evans in 2003, and had two children with him.
