Rachel Clarke

Rachel Clarke is a palliative-care physician and author. Before studying medicine, she worked as a television journalist. She has written three Sunday Times bestsellers and was nominated for the Costa Biography Award and the Baillie Gifford Prize. In 2025, she received the Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction.
