Raban Ruddigkeit

Raban Ruddigkeit was born in Leipzig in 1968. In the 1980s, he co-founded and designed the GDR fanzine »Messitsch«. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, he worked on various media initiatives, drew comics under the pseudonym »Der Rabe«, illustrated books and developed designs for cultural and commercial clients. From 1996, he initially worked for the advertising agency Scholz & Friends before continuing as an independent designer and art director. His work included the weekly »Grafische Kommentare«, which received the Lead Academy’s Illustration of the Year award in 2016. Ruddigkeit also taught at institutions including the Offenbach School of Design, Berlin University of the Arts and Münster School of Design.
