Philip Kennedy Johnson is an American comic-book writer and musician. He first attracted attention in 2015 with *Last Sons of America*, published by BOOM! Studios. He subsequently worked on projects for Archaia, IDW, AfterShock, Scout Comics, and Marvel. In 2019, he created the dark fantasy work *The Last God* for DC’s Black Label, which was followed by his work on *Superman* and *Action Comics*. In addition to writing, Johnson has also worked as a soldier, teacher, composer, and trumpeter.
