Petra Sparrer

Petra Sparrer is an author, journalist, editor and translator. She studied Romance languages and literature and English, including in Paris and Glasgow, and completed a postgraduate course in journalism and communication studies in Stuttgart-Hohenheim. In 1992, she worked as an intern at the ZDF foreign bureau in Brussels. She has contributed articles and travel reports to newspapers and magazines and worked for general-interest and children’s book publishers. From 2008, she ran her own editorial office in Cologne. Her work also includes translating books for children and young adults.
