Peggy Rathmann

Peggy Rathmann, born in Minnesota in 1953, studied graphic design at the American Academy in Chicago and attended creative-writing seminars. She published numerous picture books and received American book awards for her work. Her picture book “Good Night, Gorilla!” became an international bestseller and is regarded as a modern classic of American picture-book literature.
