Pegah Ferydoni was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1983 and came to Germany with her family at the age of two. She became known as an actress through her leading role in the multi-award-winning ARD series *Türkisch für Anfänger* and subsequently appeared in numerous film and television productions. She also worked as a presenter and as a dubbing and audio-drama voice actor.
