Pedro Lemebel

Pedro Lemebel (1952–2015) was a Chilean queer writer and artist. Born in Santiago de Chile, he became known as an underground voice during the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. His work includes the novel “Torero, ich hab Angst,” numerous chronicles, photography, video art, performances, and installations.
